First Cohort begins
March 1 – March 29, 2020
In our Teen Acting Intensive classes, students use their imagination to ground themselves in character, expand their senses while using the space, and dig deep into the circumstances that the character must live. In the classes, students learn to build their work from the inside out by asking the Who, What, When, Where, Why and How of a character, and learn to seek out the truest expression and life of that person.
We begin with ensemble building games, then introduce and practice acting skills via monologues and scene study. The class culminates in an open presentation for friends and family to come watch their work.
Auditions required for this class.
February 6- March 26, 2020
$10 each Class, $60 for a 8 Class Pass.
Living Playfully allows participants, ages 50 and up, an opportunity to play and act out real life situations and share their unique perspectives with others.
Fun, educational and a kickstart for the imagination, the class encourages social engagement, increases the use of the body, mind, and voice, builds confidence and self-esteem, stimulates thinking, promotes creativity and encourages a more playful, positive attitude.
